when i go on to the E on the xbox hard drive through flashfxp, i can only find the maps available on the content download for halo 2. where do i go to find the old maps like lockout and beaver creek.
also how long does it take to get banned and can you get banned for use in a custom game or in the loading screen of a matchmaking game because i got banned 10 minutes ago but i dont remember playing any matchmaking games..i did try to start a slayer game and it said i was permanently suspended

Put your halo 2 disc in and then FTP. Also Halomods does not condone XBL modding so don't talk about it here.

do i put in the game disc when the computer is already connected because i tried to do that and go to a different drive like C and it said changing directory and then disconnected

Put the disc in while at your modded dashboard and FTP to the box and look in the D: Drive in the maps folder.

but to get to the evox menu thing i have to put in splinter cell..i get the feeling i skipped a skip but i can mod new levels so i probably didnt notice a problem. any idea whats wrong or info on what to do?

Sounds like your using the softmod to mod on XBL. Are you, just like in custom games? But at the "evox" dash is there an option that says turn softmod on/off? If so click turn it on. Then you can FTP with halo 2 in the Disc Drive. What all does your "evox" dash say on it. Mabye upload a pic of it if you can.

i go through splinter cell and go through linux and then check points. a menu appears and says launch dvd, trainers,ms dashboard,reboot,power off, system utils, and launch menu

it disappears and goes back to the xbox main menu like memory and xbox live kinda stuff.unless u meant what happens if i try and click ms dashboard on that menu in which case it just goes to a screen with green writing in many languages that say need service or something

Honestly, this topic should be locked. But, for you're convenience, just install the softmod, then you can mod old maps.

You need to get an autoinstaller from XBINS, burn it to a CD-R, then put in in your Xbox and install it.

If you have no idea what I just said then try google.
