Jackal mod help

Hey,
in Halo 1,
i made a mod where you are a Jackal on 343 Guilty Spark, but you know the cintematic where MC finds the helmet and looks at the video? The jackal didn't show up at all except when he runs over to the helmet. Its something to do with animations right?
