That's what I was going to use, until dad banned me from downloading/streaming/uploading stuff for 3 months. I sneak a bit in, but those would be way too huge and he'd notice. I can start downloading again in 15 days though.The_Hushed_Casket wrote:Spline modeling can work if you know how to do it right (like rossmum does). If you do want to learn plane modeling, the video tutorials in Katarn's sticky are great.
Cooldude, Reaper and/or tabasco should have renders for me within the next few hours... if not, then I'll PM you the model (in .gmax format, hope you can convert) on the files forums.

??? your renders are MEH at best. they need to use a skylight and 2 omnis, not backlight the gun, put it on a diff. color background, use cast shadows and lighttracer.citruspers wrote:make some blooming effects, like I did.
makes it look like it has more detail

I AGREE!Reaper Man wrote:in reply to multi-genre, box modeling does not suck. i will say what i told ross when he was embarassed about spline modeling. WHO CARES HOW U MADE IT. as long as it turns out good.
Who cares the method? If the model rocks as the finish product, well don't tell them otherwise
