Then Vehicle Based Combat it is. Kinda like a mini coldsnap. :P Except different. I'll still had random obstacles around the map and such.

I said that is not where the bases will be it's just to show you what it will be like. IT WILL CHANGE No doubt. That was just to give you a feel of what it will be like. Many things will be definatley moved and added and junk. That is not how I plan on laying out everything. I just quickly made that to get an idea about where to put things. It's not even poportional. To be honest I'm just guessing, it could be a lot larger or smaller than I imagine (however I will be adding a few things and testing today to see the actual size of this. )I'm guessing it's pretty large though since someone was just going to convert the inside of that what looks tiny on that pic (the place that's in the bottum left corner). So we'll see. I will be adding many more things and that is in no way going to be the final.
so does this map fit on gemini? from what i hear its huuuuuuuuge?

on another note:
and to move all of the spawn locations select one spawn point from the old bsp, move it over the new bsp, make sure everything you need is checked under the "visible spawns" drop down box and then hit the "edit" box and select "move all spawns here.

You've heard right. I just converted it, and wow. I am astounded at how big it is. I just don't know what to do with it. It's so big, I don't even see how it could be fun, even with 16 people.
Halo 3 ruined everything..

look heres the easiest tutorial ever on how to do it in Entity Alpha.
Open sp map.(Im using metropolis as an ex.)
Open gemini.
Check parse and recursive in metropolis(sp map).
After you checked both boxes go to the bsp tag and click the bsp/blah/blah/efwe4g
Then click save and save it anywhere you want.
Once your done saving go back to gemini and click build at the bottom right.
Then you click the .info file of the bsp you just extracted.
Once youve clicked build and w/e you just now converted the bsp. Congrats

Not if they copy your exact ideas. ;) Who cares if they use the same bsp though, a lot of people will. It's like modding a Halo 2 Map. You can't be mad at someone for modding coagulation. BSP Conversions are like new maps and you can't be mad at them for modding their own version. :)

Has anyone figured out a way to access machs or scens and stuff that are spawned through the BSP? Like to make it draggable into other maps and spawned like normal.

Nice to know you're looking out for me, man. I've been so focused on making vehicle mods (I wonder if I can attach a small mach or two onto the bottom of a pelican to make it able to land on the ground without flipping) to really concern myself with bsp conversion. I just hope some good ones get released in a modable state.
Also, stupid question, I guess, but dragging a bsp into gemini still leaves you with a map you can't open in Insolence, right? Just wondering why so many people are using Gemini instead of waterworks.

Eh for the larger bsp's i would suggest increasing the running speed a little tiny bit..

Anyone know why
A) I dont spawn and the screen is black
B) I spawn but i cant move
