Filming

When someone is filming a tutorial or something of the sort on their computer, how are they doing it? Is it a program? If so, where can I find it?

Camtasia or FRAPS. Google them. They are both pretty good recorders.

I have used Camtasia Studio 3 for all of my video tutorials, and I'd strongly recommend getting the program. It's very useful, easy to use, and overall a very powerful piece of software.

I've never used Camtasia. Is it freeware?... Or can it easily become freeware  ?
