Well, within a few years, the price should lower. But a 2 TB HD is kind of useless, no one takes up that much memory. I use an external that is 210 GB, but TB? Crazy.

yeah considering my comp only has an 80gb (and its a laptop

), and its about 1/3 full, and dont expect it to be filling up any time soon. now 2tb is about 25 times that much

thats a lot of memory.

Yes we could. If your trying to do something that takes up a lot of memory, you could. It also gives you a sense of unlimited potential.

I have a 300 Gig hard drive and a 1 gig memory, and I still have over 200 gigs of free space. That' enough for me for a while.

wow. wish i could use that thing.

'course, it's not like it's some magic single hard drive in there, they've likely RAIDed up 4 500GB drives. still pretty awesome thugh! I'd use that as the main component in a server! or at least to have multiple backups of the server on it.
