Yeah I've had that problem too. I don't know why it does that. I don't think you did anyhing wrong as it works fine when I converted the mainmenu BSP with the same steps. I'd like to see if Pointer Tool 3.5 would fix the Raw without freezing but I deleted my copy thinking I wouldn't need it with V4.0.

If anyone has a copy of Pointer Tool version 3.5, could you send it to me?

I think the problem maybe Insolence, It's trashed some of the model data in my maps, and I think it may be trashing some Mode meta. My program uses the Mode Meta to see where to inject the BSP raw.

People really need to get it together and post some BSP conversions. The application and tutorials are really making it alot easier than it used to be. Hopefully it will spark alot and get alot of maps on Mimesis. We need new maps more than map mods. So ChopChop.

If Insolence is trashing the model data, I think we have more to worry about than injecting the BSP Raw. You know, such as not currupting the map :P...

Ok i am at this part...Step 2: Injecting the BSP
Close all programs and open your MP map in ADI. Extract the conversion tag from the map and close ADI.

My question is what am i extracting? The FX tag from my MP map, or the SBSP from my MP map? I tried extracting the old FX tag (i renamed it Magical_BSP) and it says "The path contains illegal characters."

FX contains <> so windows can't save it, just change the filename to something else when extracting.

I would try but I dunno what the hell "and set it's offset to the end of the file" means.

that means open up your SP map in HEX and scroll down to the bottom. On the left you will see Hex numbers. Choose the last one you see and put that value in for the offset in ADI in your SP map in ur unimportant tag. The unimportant tag i used was one in the <FX> tag....any one of those will work.

And Shalted, it doesn't come up with a save dialog box for the <fx> tag when you click save meta. When you click it, it goes straight to the "the path contains illegal characters" error. No problem, you should be able to just change the tag type in ADI from <fx> to like coll or something.

ADI can do it. It's just like dependencies but they are called LoneIds.

For the IDs, just go to the SBSP tag in ADI and click the little green wheel thing in the bottom right and then click loneid. Then you change what needs to be changed.

As for the freezing thing, apparently it is Insolence's fault for screwing up the model data and there isn't much we can do about it I guess(unless Shalted or someone else has any ideas). Maybe try injecting everything into a different MP map since maybe Insolence will handle it differently. IDK if that'd work or not...
