[Halo 2] Pointer Tool V4 and a SP->MP tutorial!
Yeah I've had that problem too. I don't know why it does that. I don't think you did anyhing wrong as it works fine when I converted the mainmenu BSP with the same steps. I'd like to see if Pointer Tool 3.5 would fix the Raw without freezing but I deleted my copy thinking I wouldn't need it with V4.0.
If anyone has a copy of Pointer Tool version 3.5, could you send it to me?

I think the problem maybe Insolence, It's trashed some of the model data in my maps, and I think it may be trashing some Mode meta. Ok i am at this part...Step 2: Injecting the BSP
Close all programs and open your MP map in ADI. Extract the conversion tag from the map and close ADI.
My question is what am i extracting? The FX tag from my MP map, or the SBSP from my MP map? I tried extracting the old FX tag (i renamed it Magical_BSP) and it says "The path contains illegal characters."

For the IDs, just go to the SBSP tag in ADI and click the little green wheel thing in the bottom right and then click loneid. Then you change what needs to be changed.
As for the freezing thing, apparently it is Insolence's fault for screwing up the model data and there isn't much we can do about it I guess(unless Shalted or someone else has any ideas). Maybe try injecting everything into a different MP map since maybe Insolence will handle it differently. IDK if that'd work or not...
