putting legendary skilled covenant in multiplayer

I think it would be cool if somehow you could put any legendary skilled convenant into multiplayer...like a bot...I think right now its quite possible but i just cant seem to figure out what to do. A bot would be great practice for any halo player.

hey, hey, im still not up to date about the AI, and although it is quite possible to put a model of a bot it, and theoretically make it move, i do not know for certain which sections are AI, to be honest i havent looked at it barely at all... ive been busy lately, and ill get back here as soon as i catch up on my other posts

"Quite" possible? Don't you mean NOT quite possible without the SDK?
I'm sorry, but I'm sure we very much cannot add artificial intellegence into multiplayer. We can add Elites and the such, but due to the lack of a controller, they would not move.

and im quite possible that we can.. halo is just a whol bunch of #'s and although we dont fully know them (by any means) the AI exsists in only a fairly small part, and could be put rite into the map, and directed.. just not to terribly controlled, the enemy might just go into a command line after it saw you.. im not positive.. but a while back there was talk of getting close and adding forms of AI to multiplayer.. so its definet;y posible...

Ugh. Sure it's probably possible, we have no idea HOW though. So my point is, no, you're probably not gonna see multiplayer AI until the SDK. Plus, I doubt we could even get the A.I. in MP maps after that. Blood Gulch or anything else has no A.I. in it. It would be difficult indeed, and would be probably easier just to wait for the SDK.

P.S. I never was into modding before HaloPC... what's SDK stand for? :lol:

if u say nobody has no idea your wrong.. ive talked to several who have a small idea of how it might be done.. but i myself am not postive.. and one thing we dont know is if the map itself will allow it, if it doesnt have the rite textures, then thr AI bots will fall through the maps.. and it doesnt have AI scripts in the maps but i think halo doesnt use them.. more evolved.. but idno

but AI is much bigger then a 4 byte offsets... it requires a bunch of work

hmmmm mabye if u just found it in the code u could just copy and paste into the map lol i wonder if it will ever really be that easy hehe

thx dan, i thought i was wrong there.. :)

and HAL9000 i have done sumthing like this, i put a marine (with mc model) into bloodgulch, and when i shot him, he looked at me.. i thought it was pretty neat, even though it wasnt much (i was happy, :) )

edit: in guerilla under the globals tag... there are difficuly settings for easy, normal, hard, imposs (legendary).....

do you think thoose would effect ai in mp to >_>
