can somebody please tell me what master chiefs meta is? i "accidentley" switched it with a grunts and dont remember what MC's original one is

sadly it did not work. im getting a new error with hmt saying plese make sure file exists. thats ok i can still use MP thats all i really play.

i was trying to mod the silent cartographer map in the trial so i can play as a hunter

Dude just replace the map if you havent hardly modded it, or go to your backup silent cartographer map and search for mc's meta there. If you dont have backups, you better put in your halo disk and get some because they are crucial if you want to mod.
