This is great!
I like the non-compliant mode - somehow Insolence screwed up some of the sounds tags and normally Serenity reported many errors, but with non-compliant mode I was able to make a patch of my mod easily.
Suggestion - when Serenity makes a patch, it first checks if the map is patchable through compliant mode, and if it is, goes ahead and makes a compliant patch, otherwise, automatically puts on non-compliant mode and attempts to make a patch. If there are any errors when the patch is made, it deletes the final serenity patch so the user doesn't think it will work.

Just open the map in UAT...If it doesn't have holes or out of map data, it should be compliant...Really, the only way to test this 100% is to create your patch, apply it, and see if the results match...But everyone should be doing that before they release the patch anyways...I could add a tab that would do the create/apply testing, but really it's faster to just make your patch, and test it with apply...Agent ME wrote:Suggestion - when Serenity makes a patch, it first checks if the map is patchable through compliant mode, and if it is, goes ahead and makes a compliant patch, otherwise, automatically puts on non-compliant mode and attempts to make a patch. CLuis stole my son.
Suggestion, remove that ugly looking eye maybe?
Applying is already supported! Paste this in Notepad. Replace the path with whatever yours is.. Save as "Serenity.reg" then open the .reg ;xTural wrote:Shell creating and applying

Personally I like the file association better...Pops up with the page you need, populates all the fields right in front of you...You verify, change if needed, and apply...Shell would require popups to ask for each map, which seems like a much more confuddled way of doing things...Tural wrote:Shell creating and applying
If you really want shell integration, it's possible with a simple app and passing arguements to Serenity V3...
