No bump maps in that scene at all.
No specular maps in that scene at all.
No reflections in that scene at all.
The ground depicted outside of the metal structure has no main diffuse map, only a detail map.
The warthog smoothing groups are incorrect.
There is light being emitted from a solid slate of metal.

A bit too green, I'd say. It's okay, but not great. Not good either. Just okay :)

If I am not mistaken halo 1 didn't have bump maps veegie
The scene itself is pretty plain and boring, and the grass texture is huge, next time tweak it until you know it looks right and good enough for submission. Keep it up, you will get it in some time.

Partially. There were bumpmaps on the bsp, but not movable objects such as characters or vehicles.

if you are referring to the bumpmaps, thats plain wrong.

Halo 1's engine used bumpmaps on many surfaces, but it lacked the ability to normal map any vehicles, characters, or weapons.

Let me correct your post:
No bump maps in that scene at all - I don't have any, btw.
No specular maps - yes
No reflections - my pc won't handle it (i've tried)
The ground depicted uses only a diffuse map
The warthog has no smoothing groups applied
There are lights being emitted only from the warthogs' lights and a random point outside the scene.

Like I said, don't bug me about stuff like that, my PC can't handle i. Also, I don't know what parts of the warthog would use what smoothing groups and I imported and textured the hog in about 3 minutes just to have it in there. k? If you want a better render I'll take one from outside the thing..

If your computer can't handle cubemaps, which are just images, like any other, you have a serious problem.

So since you're correcting me, by saying that it has no smoothing groups, that would mean that I said it has smoothing groups. When I said nothing of the sort, I said they were WRONG. No smoothing groups is wrong.
and I imported and textured the hog in about 3 minutes just to have it in there. k?
3 minute work doesn't get put in the Gallery, and you damn well know that. Stop being a pest intetionally. Take your 3 minute work to the Showcase topic.
The ground depicted uses only a diffuse map
Obviously you're not familiar with Halo's rendering engine. Had you been, you would have realized what I said was accurate. And since we're talking in regards to the game Halo, I'll use the game's ingame engine as a standard.

i believe he meant that he spent 3 minutes on the warthog so the warthog could be in the scene, not that he spent 3 minutes on it to get it in the gallery

He said he put something in there that he spent 3 minutes on just out of spite. That object just so happens to be the focal point.

Actually, if you have an intergrated or a low-end graphics card, cubemaps don't show up...For example, my old Dell laptop.

That's understandable IN the game, but when you're rendering something...?
