Open Insolence and from there, open two maps. One map will be a single player level which contains the jackal shield; the other will be the multiplayer map in which you wish the jackal shield to be in. For this example I will be using the single player level 05a_deltaapproach, and the multiplayer map midship.

Bring the deltaapproach window into view, and scroll down to the tag group 'weap', expand the tree view and look for the entry 'objects\weapons\melee\jackal_shield\jackal_shield'. Highlight this tag by left clicking once.

Bring the multiplayer map into view, and then drag the selected jackshield tag over the multiplayer map. If all is done correctly, a small status box will popup displaying the tags which are transferring, you also may need to locate your single_player_shared map file.
Once the transfer has completed, the dialog box will disappear, at this time you can close the single player map.
We must now fix the first person dependencies for the elite to be able to hold the weapon. Scroll down to the weap tag in the multiplayer map window, and double click the injected jackal shield weapon. To fix the dependencies you must go into dev mode, you achieve this by clicking the 'Edit' button located at the top of the plugin panel. You then select the 'FP Models' reflexive.

Reflexive 0 is already filled out correctly, what you need to do is correct reflexive 1. Select reflexive 1 and change the model to 'objects\weapons\melee\jackal_shield\fp_jackal_shield\fp_jackal_shield' you can then go ahead and change the animation to the fp animation for the plasma pistol, this represents the closest animation that will work with the jackal shield.

Once this is completed you can go ahead and resign your map, and then ftp back to your Xbox to see your jack shield working in game.
