like i said i started it this morning the g36c i worked on for 2 weeks before i showed anybody i think the poly count is like 2200

Top cylinder is too big in diameter, stock is too thin. Other than that, it'll look alright with a decent skin on it.

Not wanting to steal your topic, but if you want a better idea of proportions, I made an MP5 a while back that might help you with yours...

100% splined. I haven't had the time to learn to plane yet.

And how much better spline is!
Im having a war against people who say "plane modeling" when its called "polygon modeling".

But spline is better, learn to cage a spline, convert to nurbs, and you can be my friend, maybe even join my crew.

P.S. Your gun model is alright, but needs alot of fixing

na dude if i were to go back to spline modeling i would kill myself. i love plane modeling so much more.

You mean Poly Modeling.

Well, i like beginners using ""plane"" modeling, they do get effective results. But for speed it is just time consuming, where I work im expected to produce up to 30 models a week, and poly modeling it would be rediculus.

Sony Datascope, but its contract work (6 months) so im off for another month before i start another contract, which is why im back here for another while before i have to go back to uni.

ross did you just stick a bunch of pieces together?
because it looks like you splined each piece and stuck them together
