I have the same graphics card, and I went through the same thing you did!! Except, my last computers couldn't even run it.llamaboy772 wrote:As you all know, (ok not really) i got a new computer. On my last computer i could barely play halo at all with a resolution of 640xwhatever, bland textures, no colors on bipeds or MC, couldn't see water of the flashlight, and got 15 FPS. When i got my new computer i was like, OMG thease graphics are good! And then i downloaded the demo of F.E.A.R yesterday........now i feel as if i'm playing halo PC on my last computer againBTW i have radeon 200 xpress. Is there anyway i can over clock it? I have 1gb of ram and a 200gb hard drive. I also heard that in order to play F.E.A.R with good graphics you need TWO graphics cards, !!!
p.s. mods if your going to lock this give me a reason

What are you talking about i did. Didn't you see my 5 page thread on the lower half of this forum? Oh and the graphics arn't as bad as i thought, i clicked the thing that sets the best settings for your computer automaticly......what a load of crap. I changed stuff up in the graphics setting and i still got flawless FPS with twice what i got when it did it for mePatrickssj6 wrote:Next time you buy a computer set priorities.

that is complete bu77sh1tjks wrote:Get an X800 GT, $150 and I over clock it beyond what a 7800 GTX can do.
I hardware modded my card to have 16 pipelines, and I over clock to 535mhz core and 550mhz memory, it may not have as many pipelines but the clocks are beyond what a stock GTX is.rickoles wrote:that is complete bu77sh1tjks wrote:Get an X800 GT, $150 and I over clock it beyond what a 7800 GTX can do.
" If you're looking for the fastest, most cutting-edge 3D card on the market, look no further. For now, Nvidia's GeForce 7800 GTX is it."
quoted from almost every review site on the net
with 8 active pixel pipelines there is no way the X800 GT could even come close to the 7800 GTX if overclocked as the GTX has 24 pixel pipelines
also the big price difference if quite a give away as to the performance difference : /
