how do i make my own b.g. from scratch?

Go Here and download something you like. Depending on what version of photoshop(for me, I have CS2, so I can get anyone of them I want

) But depending on your photoshop, get the Corresponding set. For CS2. the .abr file that comes with it goes into C:/ProgramFiles/Adobe/AdobephotoshopCS2/Presets/Brushes.

From there, start up photoshop, then click on the brush tool. Then click the little arrow in the Circle on the right. then click load brushes. Find the new set. Install them. Then they should appear in your brush pallet. To learn how to brush, go Here, to RaVnZcroFT's awesome beginners brush tutorial.

That should teach you the basics.

thanks a lot, good for me i have cs2 just like you do... ok, i installed it, but i dont see the brush... can you show a pic of where it is? heres a pic of what i see:

Ensure that your brush sets are in your C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CS2\Presets\Brushes folder, and then watch my Beginner's Brushing Tutorial on how to load them up and brush with them.

You getting better but your sig have to have a uniqueness.Yours is just render+text+background.Imagine something you think would look awesome.
Like twisted blue and silver lines and such

EDIT: for some reason, the b.g. isnt coming up as clear...
EDIT2: srry patrick i didnt mention this at first, but i kinda based the text off the text in your sig, even though it doesnt look as good as i would like, it's a start.

i would like the halo text on the sig that vermillion made... maybe engraved somewhere on the render (if you can find a good place for it)

that would be because i deleted those from my photobucket account bc i had no more use for them.
some of them i just moved, others i just deleted all togethor. heres my sig album on photobucket (this includes one i made for nifebender):

are you talking about the oe w/ the sniper render, or the one w/ the white bg? the one w/ the white bg was supposed to be transparent, but apparently that didnt work... on the other hand, i like the sniper render one, and since then, ive made one w/ some grunge brushes, and a head-bangin' mc render w/ som white glowy text.

EDIT: srry for the double-post, i meant to put this one as an edit for the last one... if a moderator sees this, you mind merging these?.... thnx.
