LOTR Map Packs Discussion -Helm's Deep Screens
Hi guys! I haven't created a topic or made a mod in awhile, so I decided to make Helm's Deep. Look around for screenies from other peoples LOTR projects, too.

*inner nerd and socially inept person speaks* no idea what Walka means...*normal me takes over* it's barely even started, but I just wanted to make sure that no one took the idea lol...someone made an armory or something, but it wasn't an actual base that *will* take up that section of the map. I'm going to model one of the smaller trees to be speaks, and litter them all over the ground like the Uruk-Hai, and I'm going to put fog in the map to give that rainy feeling after I get the basic duplicating and stuff done. I'm also going to add watch towers, remodel the sniper rifle as a crossbow, try to get rid of its contrail or make it very light of a contrail, and make the rocket launcher a mortar cannon which only has one shot, but it has a weight/arc of 2 and a larger area of effect. A harnessed form of the Uruk-Hai's lighter thing.

walka was talking about the same thing I meant... someone else is laready doing something else like this, but it's all in logs... and it looks all meh and whatnot.

He beat me to it. Agh. I should have posted the screenies sooner...sigh...anyways, that has vehicles in it. My apparent *version* will actually try to have the exact layout as Helm's Deep and have weapons from the middle ages, vehicles gone since they never used any (or so I remember) and stuff like that.

yours definitely sounds more vigorous... I like the weapon mod ideas... keep working on it! and dont care what that other version has in it... anything with logs *SUCKS*...Demonic Spartan wrote:He beat me to it. Agh. yeah, that would be cool, if I had some idea about where to start...Demonic Spartan wrote:I have an idea...why don't we just put all of them in one compressed folder? Hunter makes the mines, I make Helms, Tsuska makes Pellinor Fields, and then we all put them together and call it the LOTR Map Pack!
