Could Be a Bit more Random Though...and, I think Lava lamps can create more light than we see in your render...

Lava lamps Glow. In fact, I'm using one as a light right now...The "gloop" glows, and on mine, there's always a chunk at the top...

If the lava lamp is the source of light, why does it look like there is another source on the right? The shadows on the Plasma Pistol are going the wrong way. Also, the lava lamp wouldn't cast a shadow because it is the source of the light. Unless the base was creating a shadow. In that case, the shadow should be straight down instead of going on the left.

Look at the visor.. There must be another sorce of light off "Screen"

Doesn't seem that way... You kept talking about the Lava lamp being a light source, and that the shadows were wrong cause of which...

and you didn't say anything about the "other" light source...

1. yes i guess it could be a little brighter
2. yes there is a light off screen
3. you cant see the top so that blob shouldnt be seen anyway.
4. the blobs dont glow...its not like they are radioactive or anything, just mb somewhat opaqe to let light through and give off a fake glow (like shine a flashlight through your fingers) mb?

and the lamp animates too (to infinity if i want, i have a praticle system driving it) lol, but this is a picture thread
