error... plz help!

hmmmm... i ran halo, but then got an error:

"A problem occured initializing directdraw. Hardware acceleration maybe disabled, please run dxdiag"

so, i ran dxdiag, and it didnt find any problem, so what do i do? someone plz help...

try reinstalling. that always helps

i modeled some stuff... it worked for a couple days, then it stopped

I had that problem a lot too when I was trying to play halo on my computer for the first time. It only worked once I got a new graphics card....

Your Graphics card is probably too old, or you don't have the latest DirectX drivers installed.

my graphics criver is pretty good (i have played halo on it before), also, i got it fixed srry i didnt tell you.
