Help playing Halo 2 off my hdd

When i start up halo 2 through unleashx,after it loads the intro it says that my disc is dirty or damaged....

Please tell me how to fix this.

IM opening it through the games folder in unleashx

I suggest you put a clean mainmenu.map to your maps folder.

Also, what files for Halo 2 do you have on your xbox? Such as Default.xbe, Media folder, Maps folder.

This same thing happened to me. Did you copy the maps folder and the other folders exactly, or did you make them and copy the stuff into them? You have to have the folders lowercase for it to read it. See if you capitalized them.

you can also go withmod chip turned off and to do that you have to go into your bios and change it to unlock or lock wateva and thats how you do it

i did i, and if you didnt put the fonts with the maps (found in the maps folder) then it wont work!
