Halo CE not downloading maps

alright yes im a big noob at this but umm when i try to join custom maps servers it just saids Cannot load... so what do i do if i cant go into custom games do i need to update it more or something. its 1.00

no u need to download the maps, duh

just download then put it in ur maps folder

he doesnt know that... he probably played cs or something where its better and auto installs the map for you
