The Ads at the top of the page is advertising a book on how to glitch and "hack" Halo 2.
is there a way that you could get the old gooooooooogle adds back?

I don't care about the ads.
They just sit there and you lose site of them every time you go for a post or scroll down the page.
Minor thing.
I'm curious to see what is actually in that 'Halo 2 Hacks' book.
It can't be about XBL modding because that involves the whole dodgy modchip/etc process.

for a site that was targeted and thought of a cheating site, I dont think things like this will help its image.

Good point.
I checked the link out and it says:
Halo 2 Hacks : Tips & Tools for Finishing the Fight
By tools I hope he doesn't mean DotHalo or whatever.
I checked out the author of the book and he has also writtin one about Halo 2's 'secrets':
Secrets Of Halo 2
And then check out this pic (for fun):
Check the bottom left corner !

I know the author of the book (Stephen Cawood) and he would never print anything to destroy Halo. It doesnt cover ways to cheat, but how to mod. As well as various tricks in the Halo game. The book will in no way allow anyone to cheat in Halo. I recommend buying a copy of it and seeing for yourself.
Feel free to send me an instant message if you need anything.

Even if it was real hacks, I dont think you need to worry. I mean..the people who would hack the game and be douche's are not the type that are going to go out and actually PAY for something.
There are a few exceptions, however.

I don't really see this as any problem at all. It's not like anyone clicks those advertisements, anyway.
