Getting Halo 2 onto your Xbox harddrive Help!
If you can't do it with a dashboard, do it via FTP.

ok for starters you need to create serveral folders on your computer named
bink
maps
media
[all four xbes]
then ftp from drive D with halo2 disk in and open up media and ftp everything in their (highlight then transfer) then when thats done ftp all maps to the maps folder but only the ones without numbers next to them. next put those folders into a folder named Halo 2. then ftp the folder to your games folder on your xbox. your done
reboot or reset your xbox and then goto where your games or stored for me its E:games then play them from the dash

ok none of that really helped but thanks anyways for the help but now I can get halo 2 in the xbox while still in dash board but now i cant find out my name/password to ftp to my xbox can any 1 tell me how to find it im using the evolutionX Dashboard now i got my ip but my old name/password no longer works on ftp quick connect
Boot to your dash with no disc in the drive.
When the dash has loaded, eject the tray and put in the Halo 2 disc without powering off the Xbox
After that, check this, I recently revised it and moved it up, it should work well.
Also, in your Evox System Settings > Network, you can edit the username and password.

Ok in that (first) (post) (it) says that the Tutorial didnt work
This was my problem:
{[(<<<2) On your modded dashboard, go to System
3) Then Misc
4) Then press Close DVD Tray when Halo 2 is in the tray>>>)]}
That is the part i am having trouble with I dont have close DVD in my system/misc area of my dashboard and cant close the dvd tray or else my halo 2 will start up
P.S. there is no Network area im my System settings only FTP area with the password as xbox no screen name???
