Above is the Golden Grunt Site, which I just started 2 minutes ago but should have started long before the award was originally announced at biocroc.com.
What is the golden grunt?
An award given to the best maps in the following categories:
Best Overall Map
Best Idea (stuff that just didn't turn out right, but was brilliant to begin with)
Best Space Map
Best Recreation (as in one from another game)
Best Non-Halo Map (like all those sonic ones I keep hearing about...)
Best Small map
And also to the following:
Best Vehicle
-Flying
-Real-life recreation (doubt we'll have any this time around)
-Other
Best Scenery Piece
Best Weapon
The following requirements MUST be met by the map:
1. The map must be in a cache form by March 1st
2. The map must be nominated by February 28th at 11:59 PM EST
3. The map must not contain anything indecent (pron, etc)
The nominations will be judged and the finalists will be decided [note: panel of judges undecided at this time].
