Wait...I didn't read the other topics....is this just an engine test demo or an actual gameplay demo?

Hopefully, i will be able to upload it tonight, if there's someone online who can convert it to an exe. I hate libraries, gah! Anyway, it's not very long, has bugs, but it is a playable beta demo which will not be based on the book in any way.

PS. When i do release it (tonight hopefully) please also read the readme.doc file for a list of bugs, and if you have discovered a new bug, PM me.

I would upload it now if i could, but i am at school.

Quick question: What is the plot? Or just an over view?

HTFOR demo released

Post by Spartan III »

hem.bredband.net/xoramx/htforbeta.rar

Read the readme.doc for any bugs as there are some.
If anyone would be bothered to host it on HaloMods, please do.

For some reason the second Halo rock music on the Ghost scene doesnt play, dunno why. At the moment i am trying to type this with a teacher near!

There are bugs, i know...

For music to play the folder should be extracted to the desktop.

As in C:/Windows/Desktop/HTFOR Demo

In the full version MP3's should play no matter where the folder.

Please don't say it sucks, it will dissapoint me as i coded it for about 7 hours or more.

I put a link on my last post.

Yes, i understand that Grunts are way too strong, and sometimes weak.
This is a beta demo, but i do understand what you mean, and thanks for the positive comment "sweet".

I am surprised barely anyone else has replied.

Is HaloMods deserted, or doesn't anyone else have an interest in the game?

Any other bugs, check the readme.doc before telling me.

By the way, you need Winrar to extract it. Go to www.rarlab.com if you don't have it!

Thank you for being the one and only true replier. As a reward i may just send you via post the full version on CD! (For no download required)
That of course will be when it's out.

So, when am finishing it (you'll know, as i'll post) please PM me.
It may be a while till I complete it, but if you don't mind the download i'll send you the CD when i finish it.

For other people to get a CD (good for 56kers) they need to help with the game somehow, or you'll be able to download it like i said when it's out.
