profile backgrounds?

i see a bunch of profiles with background images. i heard its because they linked their gamertag for live. but i was wondering is there anyway to add that by some kinda hex/mod? since i dont have xboxlive.

if anyone has a profile with a background picture. such as (bungie.net) or the gear looking images, can u please send it to me so i can see how it is done.

you can use Sav3r it edits profiles

but Sav3r doesnt edit the backgrounds. im not talkin about putting symbols in my name. but EDITING the background of it.

you cant edit your gamertag to special characters, but you can edit your background and profile name

no i have mine linked on xbl you get the Bungie.net behind your name not the default signs

this thread makes no sense watsoever so im going 2 straighten somethings out:

1. u say background image r u talking about behind ur name or emblem?

2. if u mean ur emblem thats changed in the game(duu)

3. if u mean having bungie.net behind ur name then ud prob hav 2 hex ur profile or the mainmenu

4. as 4 having gears(i think u mean the 7th collum) behind ur name ud hav 2 even more hexing

5. no point sending a profile cause it only shows when u sign in on live(it stays if ur on live b4 going on sl)

6. if u can hex and u figure it out post how cause u should b able 2 put anything behind ur name(which would b really cool especially 4 clans and such)

Its not saved to the profile - when you sign into Live with the linked gamertag, the Bungie servers tell your xbox, and everyone's xbox's who can see your name, to put a bungie.net logo behind your name. Its not saved to the profile at all. Its not even saved to the gamertag, its saved on Bungie's servers.

no, because i know ppl who dont have live, but trasfered the gamesave from someones box that did, and they have it somehow. and i dont play on live. i see them in XBC and xlink kai.
