yo guys im new and i have a question. I just downloaded halo ce and I wanted to play online buttttt.......... when i go into the internet room no games come up so i clicked refresh and it said ''master gamespy server could not be conneccted to'' so what do i do if i want to play online? And another question. i downloaded halo ce dedicated server i tried to run the program but it said ERROR: Strings.dll missing when i ran haloceded. I tried another folder for halo ce dedicate server, clicked on it and it just gave me a black screen with a list of games which im sure some are ce because there is no map name it just says...map.

Your first problem, the playing online one, I really have no idea why thats happenning. Maybe your internet cable is unplugged or something.
The second question, you must've gotten the haloded.exe from download.com or somewhere other than Microsoft. You get the actual server here. Just scroll down till you get to "DOWNLOAD DEDICATED SERVER v1.02". Rename the thing you downloaded earlier, the one that didn't work, to haloded2 and put it in the same folder as the actual server and launch that one. The thing you downloaded was an update patch. After you download the server from microsoft then all of your halo servers should work as long as they're all in the same folder.
The Word document called "readme" willtell you everything else you need to know.
