halo1--->halo2 model conversion

ok great so i got darkmatter for halo2 inject extract models fine, great now heres the problem what app do i use to extract halo1 obj. not instacies or what ever i need somthing i can use (if there is another way please feel free to share and feel good about ur self for doing so)

im tring to baically convert the assualt riffle model into halo2

its on here, you have to register then go to the tutorials forum. Its the second post, called "Model Injection Tut"

It shows you what you have to do, it even has pictures for you
