OK I will get internet service back up on March 3rd, till then whomever has the fastest upload, please write in so we can use that to get as many on as possible, Lets gun for next Friday night!! Unless you all want to start now and I'll meet up with you all Friday!

not really a challenge, just can't think of a good word to catch your modding eyes!

Like me I am sure we have gotten so into our modding, Skinning, Scripting, whatever! that we have gotten away from the actual game. Well, I thought it would be fun if we mod fiends would get together on a server to do some multiplayer! Not right now, but on a certain day. Use your Halomods screen name! It should be just a friendly match with no major mods (believe it or not ) that would lag up the game. I am getting a faster service (in theory) by next week so I can have 6-8 people play. but if anyone has the server power to host a larger game, I think it would be fun.

I would like there to be some rules:

If you have a grudge against another modder you are playing against, leave it alone, this is just for fun.

No excessive questions on how to do a certain mod. This will not be a glorified AIM.

No team-killing, this should be easy since we all hate that in a game right!?

Let me know what you guys think, I will let this sit for a week to get some feedback and see if enough people want to do this.

I really hope some of the "moderators" "admin" "elite" "hunter" and "jackels" that have gained a solid modding rep will join. the whole name being familiar will make it that more fun.

also if anyone needs a boost for their ego on multiplayer, I freely admit that I suck big time and am pwned quite often! LOL!!! hey, at least I can laugh about it.

we can just set a password to the server and distribute it to modders who have been modding for a while!

update notes!

Well I sent out some invites to a couple of modders I am familiar with, don't know em all. so if you do know a SOLID modder invite them! Would be cool if we can get this to be a weekly meeting online! A HaloMod tradition!

I WILL UPDATE THIS WITH MORE INFO, HOPEFULLY I WILL HAVE MY INTERNET SERVICE UP QUICK AFTER I MOVE THIS WEEKEND.

what day would be best you think? Friday, Saturday, Sunday? What?

Well, I see a good amount of people already want to do this, GREAT!
Since I really did not expect this many modders wanting to hook up on-line, does anyone have a server to host 16 players at good speeds? heck we may need 2 servers! LOL!

Also, we can start to vote on the maps, like everyone bloodgulch is da bomb, death island is nice and big!

sweet, gonna let this thread run for a while before we can set some times up so we have a good amount of people.

that is right no mods that slow down gameplay since we might not all have the mod or want the mod.

Give me a time and date. Perhaps during the game we can get together in a chat on aim.
