Thats a sweet looking mod, good job. When you release it I will do my best to defend it against all of the people who want to get rid of log mods.

i plan on it...like i said earlier the ship itself comes first...then we add stuff like turrets, teleporters and all the other doodads...those things are probably gonna be some of the last things to be added...besides being a pain in the butt to work around, i'm still perfecting my modeling techinques and in the process of learning how to add turrets where i want them. i figure if some ppl see some logs missing then turn a little in one direction and relize that theres something there...answer? um....semi-ghostship...maby

its not that bad of an idea. i think it sounds pretty cool. have like. a rocket launcher cannon..but MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A CROWS NEST FOR SNIPING! 8)

you'd better believe i'm incorperating onto the ship, it was one the origianal ideas i had for it....i just hope theres enough no vital crud i can deleate or this could get real "messy" (as in from a distance you may or may not be able to see the crows nest from the base including said sniper in it...i'll have to test it with someone online, speaking of which before i can release this i need to go through the tutorial on how to make PPF, so as to decrease my chance of it being deleated by the moderators.

dood i'ts easy to create ppfs.....Just get ppf studio and i'ts so easy......looks cool....can't wait!!!

I dont think you can make a ppf of a map with objects duplicated because thats additional information at the end of the map...

:? If you can pull it off it'll surely be something special. I think the scorpion cannon will be best for the cannon ports because it'll give the ship an authentic "Pirate" feel. or you could give it the old neo pirate makeover and have a shade/Fuel rod gun.

67% done...compleated the frame of pirate ship...now working on interior and rooms...deleated a few unwanted scenery items...helped alitttle to compensate for the increasing amount of logs...and to clarify things...even though people might see you in the ship cause of the over amount of scenery, the collision model is still present, so no pesky snipers will get you, though i've found some tiny "cracks" big enough for a bullet to go though but not a rocket or fuel rod.

That a cooll mod man. Any idea on how many logs uv'e used so far?

Reason I'm asking is won't that many logs(judging by the pics) lag the map?

yes it will, depending on the number of logs... if it's over 200, itll probably lag so bad you couldn't use a 64 mb graphics card...

*edit* now that I see the pics, yes, it will lag really bad if you have an out of date graphics card...

This may sound like a loooong shot but....i might ( or we/sombody else) a flitlock rifle skin for the pistol???? and mabye musket shot gun you know just getting really creative. :D

damn i prolly cant get this cause my graphics card came with my xp home ed and my hpc graphics r like the grass is just faded colors

btw ever though about placing a sniper tower far above the ship and mayb adding a library nuke there lol or remodel the warthog minigun to a huge cannon and remodel the rocket to a HUGE cannon ball or just a small one with no tail or exhaust lol that would b sw33t

Should be excelent *item* 1 porthole that you can fit a RL through

make an artillery cannon there. Sorta like a really small tank but shoots up to 5 heavy rounds per second, but is innacurate.

i've run into a problem...what is it you ask? milkshape went and expired on me...so now i have no model editing program....if someone give me a different model editor then i can finish the mod tonight
