Modding Old Maps..

I am pretty good with fiquring things out but this has kinda stumped me. If I mod the old maps using dvd2xbox ( only my new maps are modded right now through splintercell dashboard ) then will I get banned instantly and permanetly from xbox live? I don't really care if I get banned from matchmaking because I don't mod in it but all my friends want me to get my old maps wanted because they want to play them in custom games with me so I guess my question is, is there anyone to get banned from xbox live but still be able to go on or something like that? I heard something about playing on your hd but how would I do this?

Errr im not thinking that people are going to want to help you if you plan on going on xbl with the maps.

no they cant play it because the have to do the same mod
