I'm a noob that needs skinning walkthrough.

I want to skin stuff with Paint but I don't know how to get the template from HMT3, into Paint, and convert it to a DDS format when im done. I need major help by someone patient enough to help me.

Ps: QUAGLINOMAN IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD!!!!

well u cant skin in paint, u dont have the right plugin for it to be able to plus its just really bad......u can get a trial of photoshop or paintshop pro though to work with

Ok thanks, but a few more things.
1.) where do i get a trial of photoshop
2.) how do I get a template of a skin sheet thing into photoshop and modify it
3.) how would i make the finished skin template into a DDS format so i can put it in with HMT3
