We need an unbiased group, a group that does not care who made a sig, what kind of sig it is, or anything. The best way to tell if good choices were made is to look at the poll. Is there one person who got 50 votes and one person who got none? Xero has a bit more than the other people, but everyone else has nearly the same number. That's how you can tell, and from what I see, the group of people who made the choices made good choices.

obviously because xero is a regular at this site and i just suddenely appeared and submitted my works. it doesnt surprise me that i am losing, but it does not phaze me either.

When it comes down to it, you have to realize a few things.
1) This is not a graphics site and as such people do not always have the same thing on mind of what is "good" and what isn't.
2) People will vote for their friends, and what appeals to them instinctively. While this is ok, it doesn't always mean good things to the polls.
While I took AP Art History last year, there were many art periods where I thought the art style odd, messy, and distasteful. That was, until, I really studied them and realized what trends at the time influenced their making.
Bottom line, there is a difference between aesthetical "pleasement", and visual "pleasement".
3) While some blow it off, IRC has a big factor. That, I feel, is the biggest factor in poll swaying.

All polls held here at halomods are bullshit.. That's long been established.. But there's not usually malice involved. Most people just vote for their friends 'cause they honestly believe its the best.. 'Cause someone they know made it, so obviously its better than everyone else's. C'est la vie.

If you don't like how people vote, there's not much you can do besides stop having public polls. Maybe you wanna get a group of your friends together to decide a winner?

Why is it wrong it being used for art intead of something to look at while jerking off i dont see whats so wrong with using an animated pic for art even if it is hentai.
