I still don't like the fact that people just randomly chose the 'best' when we were asked to volunteer ourselves for this...
Oh well, I'de probably end up getting something I can do and kick arse with it.. I've only made one sig, so who knows? I spent 2 hours on it (it took a while to find some tuturials) and it was 'great', but no one will ever know...

but the thing is, we needed people with more experience than "Just made my first sig!!" We needed people that have been doing this for some time. And kinda have a grasp of what they ared doing. I'm here cuz I started most of this.

Of course not! I only said that because I have experience with manipulation/enhancement, and you don't. So I could do the manip, and you could do an anime signature, since you've done signatures. But since I hate anime, and you've never done a manip before, we could switch.

I have been using photoshop for almost a year and a half...

i agree, its fucked up that only certain people can enter, EVERYONE can enter SOTW, why should this be any different?

Let me provide you with an example.

I have been using 3ds Max for about that same amount of time for modeling. An animation contest comes up. I tell them I've been using the program for that amount of time. Then they give me my assignment...oh wait this is an animation contest? I don't know anything about that.
