
[Video Tut] Making weapon projectiles viewable.

When you see the rocket shoot things out but others shoot things out of the SMG is because you did not swap the models from the rocket out to the SMG correctly. The single shot problem you are having is also because you didn't copy the trigger information from the smg over the modded one. Basically you swap the models, projectiles, trigger, and fire effect bitmaps which will make you see the stuff come out of the gun. By swapping all these models and animations you are basically disgusing the rocket as another weapon and somehow when you paste the meta offset over the unmodded weapon it allows other people to keep their weapon's models, fire effect bitmaps, etc.
The good thing about this is once you're done with one weapon you can extract it's meta and keep it. When you extract that meta all you have to do is DUPE the rocket and then inject the modded meta over it. Which will allow you to swap the projectile much quicker.
But can you tell me how you swapped all the data at one time. You marked them and the theye got swapped. Which buttons do you press?

This is weired. Know i tried a couple of times.
I wanted to make a scarab gun, so i figured i used main_scarab_gun projectiles.
I dublicated the plasmapistol.
There where no magazine to swap for the plasmarifler, but i figured it would be okay, since neither uses magazines.
So i used the tutorial again. What i got was a plasma pistol, with plasma pistol hud shooting scrab projectiles, which everybody could see.
I wasen't able to see the projectiles they fired with that same weapon, on their screen it was just a regular weapon.
I started dothalo and look at the dependency, which had some plasma_pistol bolt tag included, i tried to swithch them manual to what i thought was right.
I got a real scrab gun, but when i hold the trigger it would charge a plasma pistol bolt (secondary fire), but only i could fire it as a scarab gun.
What im trying to say, is it seems like there may be missing some steps in the tutorial, because i keep getting the same results.
