Im sorry to sound like a n00b (but i sort of am) but how could I set it to alpha channel?

apparently you are an idiot if you cant take the advice to look for a tutorial, since there is a tutorial in photoshop called the HELP FILE....
just search channels or alpha or something, ull figure it out, i think.

Ok sorry for my lazyness and atitude I had major stress and problems yesterday...
Anyway I searched alpha channel and I opend it up and I think I know what the White channle is. So all I need to do is edit whats seen in the white alpha channel and it'll work or did i mis understand it?

So im think I just swap the word Marines for what i want now. correct?
