Halo: Combat Evolved cheats and custom maps

Hey guys,

I just got halo for the PC and I am trying the cheats I got from Gamespot.com. I have added -console -devmode to the shortcut properties and get the prompt to type in the cheat. However, i get an error everytime. For instance, cheat_all_powerups says it cant execute. Any tips on this?

I also am looking for custom maps to download. Not to familiar on how this works.

well for halo pc there is no cheats with devmode its only for halo ce.

that is for ce the ones on gamespy

As stated, -devmode is only for CE. It's intended for game designers to use to help them in making maps.

The custom maps you're talking about are almost certainly CE as well. Check out www.halomaps.org. Find the maps you want, download them and put them in the same directory as all your Halo CE (NOT regular Halo) maps. Just a note though, the more maps you have, the longer it will take CE to load.
