Matrix Mod Idea

After going through the forums here, I came upon the Death Island Matrix Mod. I couldn't fathom why there would be a Matrix mod on that level, but whatever. Anywho, I started to think what would be the best map for a Matrix themed mod. So I came to the conclusion there are only two maps that currently exist that could possibly make a Matrix mod good, Longest and/or Hang 'Em High. Mod would include wall cling, possibly anitgrav space, and of course bullet time shooting. This is just an idea, if anyone would like to make this HAPPEN, you can take the credit, and if this idea has already be introduced, I"M A FREAKING N00B! Thank you.

I think Icetiger is working on a matrix mod...
I made one myself on The Library but I didn't think it was good enough to release.

i can help i jst made a mod in Longest and i made it so u walk really slow and the bullets go really slow so u can crouch under them and stuff. i also made a spiderman mod lol where u can jump between parallel surfaces

I am working on a matrix mod for Gephyrophobia.

from what it sounds like, the hardest part will be finding which bitmaps to switch.

also to find the Pistol's contrail (as it doesn't have one

)

Thanks for the feedback, especially for a first timer. I think blink 182 gave the closest results to what I'm looking for. Any chance you can get me a copy of that mod. I plan on having a Matrix viewing party at my place, so I was also planning on some LAN action also. AND YOU'RE ALL INVITED! Anyways, please contact at me through my posted e-mail if you could blink 182. Again, thank you.

TsukasaZero, no mod is a bad mod in truth, so share the wealth dude. mooseman2004, Death Island mod was great, just the environment I felt wasn't fitting for the Matrix theme. blink 182, you're pulling my leg in all the wrong ways. jce108 thank you, I'm still in the planning stage, contact me. Icetiger, which website, I'm very interested, LINK ME! Randyman, this trick is a bit retarded, but, I found the Sniper Rifle trail quite suitable for bullet time effects, so i just added it too all the weapons, except Rocket Launcher, Flamethrower, and Plasma Weapons, I really plan to have primarily Human Weapon based Matrix mod but whatever. Sorry for the long response, as I have stated before, I am a n00b.

Pick the crazy matrix for bloodgulch if you want matrix effects with lots of crazy (but balanced) new weapons like the plasma sword.

Pick matrix arena for indoor levels for a more authentic matrix feel. With more realistic weapons for wizard and prisoner.

It is part of my old site and I will most likely move most of it over to my new one as soon as I get around. Scroll down a little to find it (my formatting got messed up).

I agree. I respect hard working mature noobs who search. Those noobs who don't give a crap, they can leave. I don't flame them as much as Hunter does *cough* but I would call a hard working mature noob a friend anytime as well.

ive tried the crazy matrix it was ok at first but i was thinking is it possible to first change the grav. just for jumping and the speed of the jump and fall plus set ur crouch speed slow i didnt check in hmt so lol

ps Xero: first go to Biped and then game globals. all the info for speeds is split between those two groups

Unfortunately, n00bs surround us, and most of the time, we cannot tell whether they are good, hard working n00bs, or just a 5 year old kid lost in a big man's world. Therein lies the problem with our little community here, we flame ALL n00bs, whether they be good or bad. But I will tell you one thing, If you see someone named Masterchief, masterchief, or mc online, be kind, even though their n00bish questions and acts will hurt and annoy the hell out of you. Alright, I'm sorry about that last post, I've been drinking Jack Daniel's a little too much. Anyways, IceTiger, thanks for the link, it is exactly what I've been looking for, and I'll be applying your techniques to Longest for my needs. Hunter and Demonic, I am a n00b, and damn proud of it, and from what I've read, you two are good guys, and I completely agree with you about n00bish n00bs, but I try to be leniant with them, since I know I was once one of them, oh so long ago, and I've had to deal with trying to make themselves noticed during a game of CS. TKing seemed the only way sometimes...

TKing will get u into the limelight, but in a bad way. just focus on playing instead of getting noticed and they will notice you
