[fixed] problem with allied map pack.....

Post by sherpa »

I downloaded the allied map pack from here : http://halomods.freewebsites.com/CoolMo ... loads.html

then i did exactly what it said..... i copied all of my old maps into the source folder.... (original unmodded maps.....) i ran the map patcher program.... it applied all the patches and resigned all of the maps.... I then coppied and pasted everything ( like it said) back into the halo2 maps DIR of my xbox.....
when i got on my xbox.... (loading it from the harddrive) I saw that the main menu said ALLIED MAP PACK>.... and it was all orange,,,, so i figured that it worked..... i started a system link game and looked at my maps list.... and i saw several new maps..... so i clicked on one to try to start it,,,, it counted down normally but when the screen turned black and (i was supposed to spawn in the map) i just came back to the pregame lobby and never actually went into the map..... it seems that it is doing this for all of the new maps that i installed..... has anyone had this problem>????

wtf is that supposed 2 mean? the reason the maps dont load is because bungies autoupdate makes them not load
if u want 2 play the allied map pack ull need 2 either replace the TDATA/$U/default.xbe with the one on the CD or use halo 2 launcher(can b found somewhere in here i think)

No..... you just rename default.xbe in the content folder....... you dont have to swap it with anything
