how do i mod

can anyone help me mod or give me basics to how to do it i have never modded and have no clue how to can anyone help?

look for the tools:

Sparkedit

HMT 3.5

HHT

once you have those look at some tutorials in the tutorial section, and ask a more specific question next time.

Ah the first thing i suggest you do is download Halo Map tools v3.5...with Phenoman's plugins. Put the plugins inot the plugin folder. Than start up hmt 3.5 open a map of your choice and first look threw every tag to get used to them.

The first mod i suggest you doing is something like swapping offsets with projectiles. To do this u go to hmt open a map with the supporting weapon you want to change...than go to the proj tag click it and a bunch of tags should appear. click on the weapon you want to change and than click on swap. A window should come up with the tags from proj. Click on you favor and than save it. Close teh hmt and open up halo...and check out ur newly modified wep.
