Halo Maps??

Post by spector108 »

Alright guys, I recently bough a Xecuter 3CE chip and upgraded my hardrive to 80GB. Now i have succesfully set up FTP access and here's my question... I took the zanzibar map from halo 2 maps and started to have some fun with it!! I resigned the map with ADI and then i went to FTP it back and play it on the xbox. When i went to the D: Drive (which is were my halo 2 files are located) it said there was 0.00 space remaining and when i tried to transfer, it failed. I have searched through a lot of the posts hear and they were helpful but i was hoping that someone could really help me out with a straight answer and tell me what im doin wrong. I tried to delete some files to make room but it wont delete them?? Thanks everyone, an explanation or good link WOULD REALLY HELP ME OUT! :D

C:/ Do not touch

D:/ CD Rom drive. Cannot delete/ Edit files on the CD.

E:/
F:/ All Editable drives.
G:/

H:/-O:/ Memory Card Slots

X:
Y: Cache Drives
Z:

-In simple terms. Your trying to FTP to the disc.
Copy halo 2 to your hard drive (info at www.xbox-scene.com) and save the Zanzibar.map file there, on your E:/ or F:/.

Halo Maps?

Alright so i see what your saying. That does make sense but when you play halo 2 dont you have to lock your harddrive. Does locking your harddrive make it not possible to access these files.

As long as your in your Main Menu, your xbox is open to FTPing. As soon as you play halo 2, it gets disabled.
