Yes, it is true, I have a prototype JMS exporter!
IT has a few bugs, such as no tabs between numbers that are supposed to have tabs. instead i used '$'s and you need to use notepad or word (word preferred, notepadd crashes on big files) to repalce them with tabs (to get a tab into the 'replace with' simply hit tab on the document and copy it and paste it, it will appear as a box)

Currently I have a model file for the MC, i have yet to test it out in sapien XD

I just downloaded ur Porgram and.....all i can seem to do is open random models....rotate the camera and zoom in and out( Which still doesnt get u inside the map :?


Soooo how do u go for ward and backwards?

I thnk i hit every key on my key board and all of them did nothing...

Now hold down your middle button.
Now press w
Viola, you moved forward (slowly, but there is an adjustment bar on the right)
s = back
a = left
d = right...

currently? Nothing.
when it's done? Make a halo ce map using:
A) An image editor (built in) to draw terrain.
B) A tool to make a blue print for an indor map - and then build it with predefined parts (like halways in the POA and in the T+R)
C) Build maps from a model editor (of course, it won't be as good as 3ds max or gmax, but itll have the basics)
D) Tag the map using the built in sapien-esque tagger.
E) Modify specific** Tags
F) Make weapons, vehicles, bipeds (using the character maker and the standard modeler), and scenery.
G) Compile the map automatically.
Questions answered? I just started it 2 weeks ago and already have a fully working terrein generator, but not the terrain drawer (use photoshop or another drawing app with a blur tool to see how it works, then place the image in the UHMM root folder and change the "\blood.bmp" with your new texture in a project and open the project !!! Do not save the new project, Custom terrain is not yet allowed!!
Im currently working on the JMS exporter, but everything is about 100x bigger than it should be, so i need to add scaling.

** Some tags will not be supported, but the basics (scenerio, vehicle, mb model animations, scenery, structure_bsp)

I finally started releasing my works. After 2 and a half years. Pop by and try them out!
Please DON'T bug me with questions on how to do basic modding. The tutorials are there for a reason, although I will help if you absolutely need it. Also DON'T ask me about Halo 2 modding, my Xbox isn't even modded.

they will be good if people like that guy in h2 downloads dont get ahold on it...doing simple crap like makeing a square in the middle of no where (its not in h2 dl but its an example)

maybe we should set up a topic for UHMM-made maps. As soon as I fix the scaling on the JMS export.. (everything is like 30-40x bigger than it should be, but other than that, it should work fine)

you need to place everything in a single folder, i just zipped up the folder XD. all of the DLL's and OCX files are included.
Ill make an installer soon.
