machinima mod

Post by turk645 »

I was just wondering if a mod to mess with the animations would be a good idea for machinima makers. Things that could be done are getting the chief to lay on the ground, sit, and calling on a death animation at will. This is just an idea and would like to know your opinion on it.

see I am the creator of www.ashadowinthelight.tk , and just today, my friend and I were working on his xbox. We are making our thing in coag, and since we thought it would be nifty we are going to use the mod we just made to get the pelican on the map. We need 2 modded xbox (which we have) to do this, one to film, so everyone can see it, and one to let the others use and move around. We plan on using the pelicans for drops and extractions and other things. The nice thing about it is, it is original. or to my knowledge it is. Now with this newly obtained knowledge we may be able to finish episode one. We are just a bunch of young kids so it is hard to find a time to get the whole team assembled. And because we are kids we like to joke around alot. Doing that wastes time etc. But i do think mods would be a good idea. It wouldn't really be hard, if you have a speed and jump mod on the map you are going to do a machinima on then just go into dothalo and fix the speed to normal and fix the jump to normal and change everything else the way you want it, and make like a .ppf and call it *This map machinima.ppf.

depends what you mean by original because Fire Team Charlie used the mods from Halo CE in their machinima but then again you would be the first people to use mods with an xbox atleast that i know of

yeah, i knew FTC used mods for their Halo CE thing, but this is just plain halo 2 on the xbox. (excluding the mods) If the group ever gets together then maybe we could get some work done but, chances are, that is very unlikely

I like that. I always wondered how to animation swap because I want to be able to lay down on the ground and snipe. People on here said I needed to swap the crouch animation with the banshee animation like you did.....I had no clue how to do it.
