stick with your orbs. The letters will make this place look like a Pre School. If Possible Reinstate those Square ones with the chevrons.

I like the currents. Beef, try this:

Take the ones you just made. Give them a colored backround (just a sqaure, maybe), and pillow emboss the letters into the backround. Then you can just give the backround an outer bevel.
