Removing plate on hog tires.

Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

Yes, all you have to do is copy the other side over it, simple PhotoShop.

well considering that there isnt another side and halo just mirrors it over he cant do that, if u want it all one color and not looked bumped like that ull have to change the bitmap for the color first and jsut basically color it all on color just for that center part, and to ge the bump map off ull have to change the multipurpose on it.

It looks like its part of the model to me, edit it in milkshape to remove it.

If its just the bitmap than a photoshop job will do the trick.

@beastman
after going through the bitmaps and looking at the warthog tires i see that the multipurpose tires, aside from it being a different color, doesn't have the plates to begin with. also, after looking at the models for the tires they do have the plates on them. now if i'm wrong tell me what to do and i'll look into it.

anyone know how to edit this is milkshape. i have the fullversion of 1.7.0 but i have never used it.

--edit--
just thinking, but would i have to make the center of the multi all black if it is the bumpmap?
--edit--

halo might detect the bump mapping coordinates from the regular bitmap too, it might not be the multipurpose, I was just explaining off the top of my head, and the multi just seemed to be what the bump was, but to cover your bases make both the bitmap of the tires and the multi flat so that way it should work, if that doesnt work then there is a bump bitmap that halo has but we cant access or at least its not in that list.

If you are talking about the part on the wheel that sticks out it is in the model i myself just pushed in the vertices to make it flat with the rest of the tire, i notice that if left on it screws up rims etc... so take a model program, 3ds, maya, whatever it may be and move the vertices in...if you dont know Vertices = intersections of edges(the points)

You can spark it up, but imma put you out....
