dunno... mb a save option or something?
i dunno cuase i make all lights in 3dsmax

there is a save options just its grayed out soo how do you save the edited lightmap??????

u use hek v 1.0 i think?
try usin 1.02 or 2.0
they should be at halomaps.org

EDIT:
warning:
back up ur old .bitmap lightmap file and save ur scenario before saving the lightmap, it bugged the lightmap once whit me

well i got this new sapien here http://halomaps.org/index.cfm?pg=3&fid=1081 but it says that lightmap editing is still WIP. When ever i try to save the lightmap after editing it, sapien shuts down. Is there one that finnished? could you give me link pls?
