modding halo 2 question

my little cuz has an Xecutor2 chipp on his xbox. i was wondering. is it possible to connect the box to the pc using crossover cable and then modd the maps and copy them to the hd? and then can i make a copy of these maps through the dash onto the mem card and then copy them to a non modded xbox (my xbox). i heard a tut on this for a evo X mod chip. just wondering if i can do the same with the xecutor2 chip...
