model extraction
is it possible to extract the models from Halo 2 to any usable format
(don't care which one)

Re: model extraction
just download forge's model extracting library for ADI. make sure to follow the instructions for the .ini and put ModelLib.dll without the # before it. the plugin will allow you to make an .obj and you can then pretty much convert it to anything else you want by using either milkshape 3d or 3ds max which can easily be found if you know where to look.

Because the textures are most likely located in those maps only. The models are also like that, they are only located in certain maps.neomaximus2k wrote:hey peeps, trying to edit mainmap.map with this prog and it wont show the textures, yet if i load up an actuall level it does, any ideas?

yeah but the textures i need to edit are the multiplayer images that view when you select a level I know they are in mainmenu.map because i used dothalo to export them b4 hand but whenever i try to import it complains about the dds format.GametagAeonFlux wrote:Because the textures are most likely located in those maps only.
