OK I have to simple questions(hopefully)

Question 1.:

How would I make a encrypted Log File.

Quesion 2.:

In VB6, How do I make a progress bar like work, like lets say(I am not gonna use it for this though) a resigner, I wanna add one and when its resigning the bar moves. Or for another example, a web browser, when loading a page.

Can anybody help meh?
