I've been turning my multiplayer BSP (biohalo_alpha4) into a Solo map, so I can test out and get a hang of how a basic SP map works.
AI Spawn Test (0m 21s, about 3 MB, Requires Divx Codec)
First up is testing AI encounter spawning. I initially placed an AI encount that I spawned with a console command. Nothing special, really, but it was a start.
Trigger Volume Testing (1m 54s, about 10 MB, Requires Divx Codec)
Then I figured out how to use trigger volumes effectively, and using scripting, made the game spawn the AI encount when the player walked into the trigger volume. (NOTE: This video is on Putfile, and Putfile only plays the video after it's finished downloading. So wait a little while and it'll load; in the meantime, go fix yourself up a sandwich

Well, I tried making friendly AI, but I either messed up the marines' encounter's team, the (ai_allegiance) command in my script, or both. They were supposed to get into the warthog and help me own, but they thought I was an enemy, so I euthanized the crazy bastards with my totally custom knife. So in short, this video is basically showing off the custom FP animations I did for the knife.
